Invited by Abdellah Karroum, the curator and founder of L’appartement 22 in Morocco, NaoKo worked on a long-term project with them from 2009 to 2012.

The project, Oh Boy, Where Are the Seven Colours?, culminated into the following three parts.

Part One: Entry, exhibited in Others, 3rd AiM International Biennale, Riso Museo D'arte Contemporanea Della Sicilia, Palermo, Italy (2010)

Part Two: Alter Dialogue, a live performance presented by L’appartement 22 at No Soul For Sale, Tate Modern, London, and its video documentation was included in Geo-Graphics, Bozar, Brussels, Belguim (2010)

Part Three: Bridge Passage, included in La triennale Paris 2012, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France (2012)

The second part was created as a live performance. NaoKo recorded the screen with the French and English translation and projected onto the back as the background for her performance. The translated paper contained the questions she intended to pose to the local musicians during her negotiations.

Part Three was produced as a commision for The Biennale in Paris, the final part of this project, entitled Bridge Passage - a collaboration - working together.
